Tob Juland

Native of Cameroon, Tob Juland was Born in 1972. Both parents were members of the local choir. It was almost automatically that he started singing from young age. His other passion was soccer. Tob Juland was therefore selected in the soccer academy where players like Geremi , Rigobert Song, Eto’o and many others players of The indomitable Lions got their soccer education. Because of his parents , Tob Juland stopped playing soccer. He had a normal education and started working in the banking sector in one of the biggest financial institution in Cameroon.

In year 2000, Tob Juland took vacation by his former boss and never came back. A one month vacation turn to a new adventure in Europe. From France where he landed, Tob Juland Took the direction of The Netherlands where he finally settled.

Tob Juland grew up listening to Fela, Manu Dibango, Pierre Akendengue, Ekambi Brillant and many others African musicians. He met Hip-hop in the later 80 and get passionate by this type of music. Message behind the music was what attracted him the most.

In 2011 he committed his debut album Etre et Avoir and will come soon with and series of single: Celebrations, Party and Racines.

In this particular song (Racines) Tob Juland invite the diaspora to keep in mind that there are coming from somewhere and have therefore the duty to help building their respective countries.
